We need your help...

​Thank you for visiting the beautiful and sacred grounds of the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes.  We are so grateful and honored that you joined us and spent time in prayer, reflection, and celebration during this most holy and blessed season. 

We also thank you for your interest in the restoration of the much beloved statue of Our Blessed Mother.  We are asked daily by our visitors, “Where is Blessed Mother?” as they point to the empty pole sitting high above the grounds.  Therefore, we wanted to provide the most current update and let you know how you can help us to restore the statue of Our Blessed Mother to her mountain home to shine as a bright beacon of hope once again.

The interior steel structures of this much cherished landmark statue are currently undergoing a major restoration and replacement process to ensure that once she is placed back high above the National Shrine Grotto grounds, she will be secure for decades and decades to come.  This work is being thoroughly and expertly completed and we anticipate that she will be returned fully restored and shining brilliantly by late summer.
