SOLEMNITY OF ST. JOSEPH
Friday, March 19, 2021

Today the Church celebrates the Solemnity of St. Joseph, husband of Mary, and step-father of Jesus.

HOLY MASS, 11 AM in St. Mary's Chapel
We will pray a Novena and Rosary following this mass.

We come to know St. Joseph. the foster Father of Jesus in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke where we witness his virtues through his actions and through his silence. We don’t hear St. Joseph’s words in these two gospels, but He was man of courage and obedience who was prompt in doing God’s will.  Last year, Pope Francis Proclaimed in his recent Apostolic Letter, Patris corde , the Year of St. Joseph on the Occasion of the 150th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Saint Joseph as Patron of the Universal Church.
